On that note, I hope you will find something that will help you reach inside yourself to find out who you are and your purpose for being here. I am a freelance writer, first committed to God. I give Him all the praise and honor for all that He does in my life. I am also committed to my family. The two angels that you will see pictured with me on this website are my reasons for being here. Had it not been for God's grace and the love of my beautiful blended family and my husband who is very dear to me, this would not be so. Life means nothing without my family.
This website was created to provide informative and well-written articles and for answering your "Dear Angela" questions based on my own life experiences. There are some things one cannot learn by books alone. My areas of life experience are vast and beyond the natural eye. Many issues plague men and women including love, sex, relationships, trust, low self-esteem, sexual harassment, coping with church folks, co-workers, supervisors and the powers that be, finding ways to handle unbearable situations, the importance of reading and obtaining a good education, raising girls, loving one's self and learning how to be real with people. Again, I am not a professional, therefore, my advice is based on life experiences only and by my God given abilities.
Since I stepped out on faith and released what God has been doing in my life, I have been tested and tried. Mainly by time restraints. Many of you know that I have been in school which requires a lot of my time that I gave to others. Now, I need my time back. I am worn out and tired, but I am proud to say that I graduated in June 2011 with a BS in Business and Hospitality Management, and a Master of Arts degree in 2014 in Leadership and Management! I finally earned my doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership in 2019 and now own my own business "AWE Global Meetings and Management." God has proven Himself strong in my life and I am grateful!
My faith has been tested in many ways, but I look at it as a sign that I must be doing something right! God does not have to bless me, but we are compelled to be a blessing to others! The purpose of this website is a sincere effort to reach out to those who desire to do the Will of God. This ministry has inspired me to look within myself and find just how I can help others look within themselves and unravel the roots that keep us wrapped up, tied up, and focused on the wrong things. My personal experiences are deep but rewarding. I will share short stories on this website that I have written and hope you will find to be a tool in improving your walk of life.
